So Lolinia suggested I do that 100 day anime challenge, but make it harder with these limitations: No anime from the last 10 years and no Hata-sensei. This is definitely going to be a challenge, especially the 10 years since that removes a massive chunk of anime, but I’ll give it a shot and try to answer as many questions as I can.
I’m doing this here since spending another 100 days doing this is a quite a bit of time, and a 100 post long thread will be a little hard to navigate, so I’m just doing it here where it’ll be laid out cleaner. Alright, so time to start.
Day 1 – First anime ever watched
This is still pokemon indigo league.
Day 2 – Current favorite series
This one’s a bit harder since most of my top anime are hata or within 10 years. I think I’ll probably have to go with gundam, if I had to choose a specific one, the original 1979 one for now.
Day 3 – First anime seriously watched
This is still sailor moon, and the story for that is in my favorite anime of each year post, which I need to update btw lmao.
Day 4 – Favorite male character
Can’t pick Nasa or Hayate, so they’re out. I think I’ll go with Kousei Arima from ylia, that was in 2014.
Day 5 – favorite female character
No Hinagiku, tsukasa, bocchi, or any of that, hmm. Maybe Illya from fate
Day 6 – favorite genre(s), why?
Same answer, “Romcom sol definitely. I love all 3 genres by themselves but when they’re put together you get masterpieces like tonikawa. Reading romcom sols are just so relaxing and it greatly improves your mood after a hard day of work”
Day 7 – genre(s) you don’t like, why?
Same answer “Not really a fan of yaoi, there’s some good ones like yuri on ice, but in general not really a fan of BL.”

Can’t say tokimeki poporon since that was gochiusa s2, which was in fall 2015. I think I’ll go with hare hare yukai from haruhi, great ED.
Day 10 – favorite male VA
If I’m excluding Hata-sensei stuff, I’ll exclude Enoki Junya. In that case I’ll have to go with Tsuda Kenjirou

Again, excluding Kito Akari, so I’ll go with Minase Inori

The ash and greninja thing happened within 10 years, so I’ll exclude that. This is gonna be tough lmao. I mean, it wasn’t a massive shock, just a small one, but *ZETA GUNDAM SOILER* Frau Bow marrying Hayato. Wasn’t really expecting her to just give up on Amuro and marry Hayato like that.
Day 15 – most disgusting moment in any anime
Still the Grisaia forest scene, that season aired in spring 2015, so just barely over 10 years ago.
Day 16 – Adaptation that ruined its source’s reputation
I’ll keep my Aku no Hana answer
Day 17 – Adaptation that enhanced its source’s reputation
Hmm, well, can’t do bocchi, and there’s not that many good answers for this one. I guess I’ll go with nodame cantabile since the adaptation allowed viewers to actually hear the music.
Day 18 – anime character you would love to be born as
I think I might go with Arima Teppei from princess lover lmao. Man’s rich af and has a harem, downside his he lost his parents in an accident, but still more peaceful than many other anime worlds and stuff lmao.
Day 19 – Anime you wish was real
I might go with pokemon, bc how cool would it be to have all these pokemon just living in our society. I think most people in our generation would be absolutely thrilled to have irl pokemon too, closest we have is pokemon go. Plus that goated free healthcare in pokemon lmao.

Still moontonikawa ofc.
Day 21 – anime with the best animation/art
Can’t go with violet evergarden, but this is an easy shift since the fate animation is absolutely top tier and around the same level as violet evergarden imo. Ufotable is just insane.
Day 22 – anime with the best story/narrative
I’ll keep my magnetic rose answer.
Day 23 – mid anime carried by its animation/art
Most of the answers I can think of are within 10 years, so I’ll say naruto since I do think it’s pretty overrated, but still has pretty good animation, though there’s still a ton of other factors too that makes it rated higher despite having a mid story imo.
Day 24 – good anime ruined by its animation/art
I guess I’ll go with the original Thermae Romae anime, insanely low budget animation lmao, though it did have some good character to it, plus novae fixed the problem already
Day 25 – favorite anime studio, because of which series?
Still kyoani, and bc of many series. Even excluding the last 10 years, well still have Amagi Brilliant park, Haruhi, Clannad, Nichijou, k-on, ect ect.
Day 26 – favorite supporting character
Man, this one’s tough when excluding the last 10 years. I’ll go with team rocket. They’re not 1 character, but they come in a package so I’ll count them together. They actually do an amazing job in supporting ash despite trying to be his enemy lmao.
Day 27 – Share one anime music playlist you created or listen to the most
This is my main playlist I have on youtube that I listen to. I still update it regularly

Can’t really answer this one since it’s just Hinagiku, and I have to exclude her, so no answer I guess.

Hmm, I think I’ll go with this angel beats quote, “No matter where or how I meet you, I’ll fall in love with you. If I can meet you again, against the 6 billion to 1 odds, and even if your body can’t move, I’ll marry you.” That scene with Yui fulfilling her regrets and ichiban no takaramono playing is one of the parts in angel beats that had me crying. Also crazy how when angel beats released the world population was about 6 bil and now it’s 8 bil.

So excluding the past 10 years, I’ll have to go with Gouda Takeo and Yamato Rinko.

I guess I’ll stick with Darling in the Franxx an say, don’t do that weird space shit at the end of it. The other stuff in the ending of the anime was pretty alright, but that weird space stuff just confused people, made no sense, and was completely unnecessary.
