Hinagiku’s Beautiful Smile and Other Things

Hinagiku’s Beautiful Smile and Other Things

Hinagiku Smile
So I was collecting Hina frames as usual, and got up to this frame.

Man, this smile

This smile has to be one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen in my life.  The tilted head, the blushing cheeks, the way her hair moves to the side a little due to the tilted head, the curve of her closed eyes, the lift in her cheeks from smiling.  This is the type of thing you’d want to protect with your life.

I wanna print out a giant poster of this screenshot and hang it up on the wall for me to see everyday and get motivated.  Seeing this smile every morning will get me up even if the sun’s not up yet due to it being almost winter.  Man, I love this smile so much.

This also reminds me of Mizu Goro‘s blog post from 2 days ago when he talked about Hinagiku’s smile too.

The thing that stood out to me the most is that “I honestly believe that the best makeup is a smile.”  This quote hits the bullseye.  Since I was a kid, I’ve always wondered why women obsess over makeup so much, especially before doing something like going on a date.  The way I’ve always seen it is that you don’t need to put on a mask to look beautiful, if the person is right for you, they’ll think you’re naturally beautiful even without makeup.  I still think that, though I also understand that women wear makeup sometimes more for the social aspect and whatnot.

The point I’m making here, is makeup is more of an artificial beauty, but the thing that really makes a girl beautiful, is her natural traits.  A smile is easy one of the best traits.  If you think about it, people tend to smile when they see someone else, especially someone important to them, smiling and being happy.  It’s contagious and makes you smile.  Hinagiku’s smile is her beauty amp being turned up to 11.  It’s the afterburners that pushes her beauty to supersonic speeds.  Seeing that smile makes me happy and makes me want to protect her and keep he happy no matter what.

Anime News
There’s a few things I want to talk about regarding some recent anime news.

First of all, happy birthday Akarin!!!

Kito Akari has always been one of my favorite VAs.  She was one of the first VAs that I knew by name and could also recognize her voice every time I heard it.  It goes without saying that my favorite role of hers is Tsukasa, which is also where I starting taking note of her.  Akarin has voiced a ton of characters and I can say that she really is an incredible voice actress.  Once again, happy birthday Akarin!!!

The next thing I want to briefly talk about is Akira Toriyama.  I never grew up with dragon ball and I’ve never watched or read it, but even I can see how influential he has been.  One of the most recent examples that comes to mind is when Frieren blows the kiss and Fern and Stark freak out about it, that was a direct reference to a dragon ball scene where the same thing happened.  I have a deep respect for any mangaka that had such an influential and positive impact like Toriyama-sensei had.  His death was extremely sad and probably one of the most mourned deaths in the anime community where almost everyone came together to pay their respects.  It was just announced that Toriyama-sensei is being inducted into Harvey Awards Hall of Fame.  I think we can all agree this is very much deserved and I’d like to congratulate the late Toriyama-sensei and thank him for all he’s done.

The last bit of anime news I want to mention is Bananya s3!

Ik bananya is a kids show and stuff, but I still enjoy it a lot.  The first 2 seasons were really cute and the 4 eps that aired yesterday for s3 were ofc really well done too.  One of my favorite parts about this anime is the art style, it’s so cute and clean, I really like it so much.  Also I find it hilarious that Yuki Kaji voices like half of the bananya characters.  Man voices Eren from aot then turns around and voices some banana cats lmao.

Alya-san
I’m not gonna make a full post about alya-san since I got busy and it’s already been like a month, but it was really enjoyable.  A good 9/10 for me, and ofc Yuki was best girl.  Highly recommend watching Alya-san.

H2
I only have 4 more volumes left to read, so once I finish that I’ll make an H2 post (no promises though bc I may or may not get busy again).  Really enjoying it and I do have a lot to say about it, but just a matter of having the time to post about it.

Alright, that’s it for now, bye
