Fall 2025 End, Winter 2026 Plans, Other Stuff

Apologies for the lack of posting, I have been quite busy in these past few months, but all has been well.  It’s crazy how fast december always passes, christmas is already in 2 days.  Tomorrow, Christmas Eve, is also when the start of Hayate takes place.  I was thinking off doing a project where I compile every chapter that takes place on each date since a lot of hayate chapters mention specific dates.  Sounds fun, but I’ll have to do it when I have a good bit of free time.  Anyway, I’ll talk about some anime now.

Fall 2025

I only watched 2 anime as they aired this season, though I do have a decent amount planned.  The first I’ll mention is one punch man season 3.

Ngl, I only really watched it out of curiousity, I didn’t expect anything good, yet it still was worse than I expected.  There’s still 1 more episode as of my writing this, but I think it’s safe to say that season 3 makes season 2 look pretty alright.  The animation quality is just so bad.  Some shots are literally just still pngs where the mouths move a little.  There’s the famous Garou sliding scene, and the fight scenes are very basic, yet people still enjoy it since basic is so much better than the rest of it.  My question is where did the budget go?  Opm isn’t an obscure anime, it’s really well known, it should have a lot of budget, so where is it?  A big thing that got to me with this season is where is Saitama?  All the scenes with him in it probably is only enough for maybe an episode.  He’s the main character, why is he not doing anything.  But yeah, final verdict, it’s not worth your time.  If you wanna experience opm, read the manga after S1.  I won’t be watching a s4 if they do make one.

The other one I watched this season is Campfire Cooking in Another World S2.

Now this is an anime that’s peak.  This is one of my favorite isekai anime.  It can’t even be called a trash isekai, bc it’s genuinly so good.  S1 was incredible, and S2 is just as good imo.  The food art is just divine, and heck, the action scenes are better than opm s3 imo lmao.  We got a new familiar, Dora, who fits perfectly in the group.  This is definitely an anime I’d recommend watching, it’s just so good.

Now idk if this counts as a fall 2025 anime, or even an anime at all since it’s a chinese anime that started airing on 12/14, but S5 of Daily life of the immortal king is out now.

If you’ve seen Saiki K, you’ll probably like this one a lot too.  This is the only chinese “anime” that I’ve seen, and it’s genuinly such a good one. The comedy is amazing, and I’m personally a big fan of the wang ling x sun rong romance.  So far only 3 eps of s5 has released so far, and it’s been super wholesome actually.  I think it’ll be really interesting seeing wang ling’s sister once she’s born, bc now we’re gonna have an absolutely menace with powers of wang ling’s caliber lmao.  Also just a warning, S2 is a lot more drama, big story based than the rest of the seasons, so if you do watch this, don’t let that deture you, s3-s5 are all like s1.

Winter 2026

I haven’t looked too far into the winter 2026 list yet, so I only have a few anime that I was already planning ahead of time on my planning currently, but there’s already some big names to look forward to.  Frieren S2 and The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife notably.  Frieren I’ve been super hyped for.  Now S2 isn’t going to be directed Keiichirou Saitou, so I’m not fully expecting the exact same feel to it, but he is going to be a direction assisstant so I doubt it’s going to be too big of a change.  As for Invisible Man, I’ve seen Moontonikawa talking about it, and I’m super excited for it, it looks like a really wholesome romance.

Other Anime

So I have been watching some other anime lately so I’ll just touch upon that quickly.

Ben-To is an anime that’s been on my planning for a good amount of years, and I didn’t really know anything about it, but I thought Ben-To is a funny name for an anime, so I threw it on my planning.  I was expecting something like a romance where a couple girls compete with eachother over a guy by making bentos to win him over, but it couldn’t be more different lmao.  It’s just a battle royal anime where a bunch of people physically fight over some half priced bentos at the supermarket lmao.  The whole time I was watching this anime, I just couldn’t stop thinking “it’s not that deep bro.  It’s just some half-priced bentos” lmao.  Can’t say I really recommend this one

The other anime I’ve been watching recenetly that I just finished a couple days ago is The Apothecary Diaries.  I was aware of this one since before S1 aired, but I put it off knowing that this is an anime that I’m going to love and wanted to wait to binge it, then S2 came along and I was like, well, I’ll wait for that too lmao.  I definitely made the right choice, bc this was definitely a binging anime. I enjoyed apothecary diaries so much, even more than I thought.  I definitely understand why it’s so highly rated, I had to give it a 9/10 myself.  Maomao is such a loveable character, and her dynamic with Jinshi is so cute.  The story is well written, but I will say a good bit of it is pretty predictable from too many obvious hints, but there is some pretty big surprises in the story.  The music is just incredible, especially the OPs.  I’ve been listening to the OPs nonestop lately lmao.  100% recommend this anime, and I’m excited for s3 in fall 2026.

Alright, that’s all I got for today.  Again, apologies for the lack of posts lately.  There is some posts I wanna make like one about orb, but I need to find the time to really sit down and have the time to write everything out.  Well, hope you have a merry christmas if you celebrate, or if not, hope you just have a happy holidays in general!
